Message to the Club
2020 season status โ COVID-19
Hi everyone
Firstly, I want to acknowledge the uncertainties presently facing our community. We hope the all members of the Crocs family โ players, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and our local community โ are staying healthy and well.
Government and media reports raise the potential for a resumption of community and childrenโs sports from July 2020. The NSW Rugby League statement
https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2020/04/22/grassroots-rugby-league-set-to-re-start-in-nsw-in-july/ outlines a process to follow government health and safety guidance. A formal review would occur on 1 June and, if guidance is supportive, footy could commence from July. This timing is similar to some schools (Term 3) and other codes.
The Sydney Roosters JRL board, of which the Crocs are a member, closely monitor developments and are planning for a shortened 2020 season and making contingency plans in case there is no play. The latest communication is available here

https://clovellycrocodilesjrlfc.teamapp.com/sponsors and volunteers for their ongoing support. We would also like to thank players and families for their patience during this โno playโ period.
To help manage excess enthusiasm in your household you can go to the Play Rugby League site
https://www.playrugbyleague.com/coach/coaching-resources/learn-the-skills/ for skills and drills ideas, grab a footy and burn off some energy with your kids.
Over the next few months we will keep you updated on what is happening, what the Club is doing and what you need to do.
In the meantime, support each other, support our Sponsors if you can and, most importantly, stay safe!
