COVID 19 Policy

15 Mar 2020 by Stephen Witten - President

Dear Crocs Members,

The Clovelly Crocs Committee continue to monitor developments in regards to Coronavirus/Covid-19. The current advice from NSWRL suggests the start of the season will go ahead as planned on the 1st week of April but this situation remains very fluid and subject to change.

NSW Health advise that organisers of activities need to communicate that participants who are unwell, have been in contact with someone with COVID19 or who have been to a high risk country should not attend.

Training and trial games remain at the discretion of coaches and families at Clovelly Crocs. If any player chooses not to participate in training and games over this volatile period they will NOT be penalised nor jeopardise their position in the team.

It is important to follow NSW Health guidelines at all times:

1. If you or a player feel unwell do not attend any team gatherings and seek medical advice/testing

2. If you or a player have come in contact with someone who has Covid-19 then you must self-isolate for 14 days

3. If you or a player have travelled from a higher risk country in the past 14 days do not attend any team gatherings and remain at home in self isolation for 14 days

4. Practice simple hygiene by washing hands thoroughly for 20 seconds and covering your nose and mouth with coughing or sneezing

Can all members please ensure you advise the club and your coaching staff if you or a family member have COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. We can discuss a plan forward from there
